Malik’s connection to the real estate business in Maryland and District of Columbia began in 1973 when his family began real estate sales in this region.

Prior to becoming an Associate Broker in 2013, he practiced law concentrating in real estate matters.

Malik J. Tuma has been involved with real estate for most of his professional life. Prior to becoming an Associate Broker in 2013, he practiced law concentrating in real estate matters. Malik’s connection to the real estate business in Maryland and the District of Columbia began in 1973 when his family began real estate sales in this region. From that time to the present, one or more of his family members have been involved in the purchase, sale, renovation, construction, leasing, development or management of real estate, both locally and nationally. Whether acting as a realtor, a manager, a builder, a consultant, or as counsel, Malik has represented first time home buyers and sellers, commercial property buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants and builders in the redevelopment of residential properties, rental properties, and commercial properties. During every transaction, dealing or contact he has provided professional and personalized services to his customers and clients.

Additionally, having lived in and around the Washington Metropolitan Area for most of his life provides him with intimate familiarity with the neighborhoods and businesses in the area. His roots in the Washington Metro region for over half a century have also provided an abundance of market-related information and experience which facilitates his keen awareness, not only of the present trends in real estate but to also enable him to provide direction and wisdom which can only be gained from longevity in the market place.

Malik’s knowledge of real estate law and experience as an attorney dealing with many transactions and litigation provides him with a competitive edge by knowing how to avoid pitfalls in real estate matters, from the beginning.

Last and most importantly, his philosophy of PMM© or “People Matter Most” drives his relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, friends, and family. The philosophy and the copyrighted logo have become an integral part of the Team’s presence in the market.
